How to Enter Unlock Code on Blackberry Smartphones.

Please do not enter random unlock codes, unless you have obtained valid (unique) unlocking code!
You may use our BlackBerry Unlock Code service to obtain unique unlocking code.

Blackberry 82xx, 87xx, 88xx, 89xx Smartphones
How to Enter Unlock Code:
You must have a SIM card in your phone to complete these steps (Can be active or inactive )
1. Go to settings menu => and then Options
2. Select Advanced options => and then Sim card
3. Type MEPD using your Blackberry keyboard
(NOTE: You will not see any text appear on the screen while typing MEPD)
4. Type MEP then [ALT BUTTON] then 2 on your Blackberry keyboard
(NOTE: You will not see any text appear on the screen while typing MEPD)
5. You should be presented with a prompt "Enter Network MEP Code".
Type in the unlock code and press in the track wheel / jog dial to confirm
6. Your phone is now unlocked.

How to Enter Unlock Code:
You must have a SIM card in your phone to complete these steps (Can be active or inactive )
The phone will then display a message top of the screen. The most common is “Invalid SIM card”.
1. Ensure the phone is charged and then switch the phone on.
2. Select “Settings” Menu , then go to Advanced Options > SIM Card
3. Type Alt-MEPE by holding the ALT-key and typing the letters MEPE
(This will not show on the screen.)
4. When prompted with “Enter Network MEP code on the screen,
Enter the unlock code, then press Enter (or press in the track wheel / jog dial to confirm).
5. The handset will be unlocked automatically.
This will be confirmed if you can make and receive calls with different SIM cards.
6. Reboot the BlackBerry and off you go.

How to enter unlock code:
1. Insert any SIM card and turn ON your Blackberry
2. Turn OFF all the wireless connections
3. Go to Options
4. Select Advanced Options
5. Select SIM Card
6. Hit Menu and select Show Keyboard
7. Type MEPPD or MEPD (you will not see the typed info)
This opens up a personalization menu.
8. Enter MEPP2 or MEP2
9. Now it will say enter network mep code
10. Enter the Unlock Code.
Your phone is now unlocked.

How to enter unlock code:
You must have a SIM card in your phone to complete these steps ( Can be active or inactive)
Wireless must be off.
How to turn Wireless Mode Off:
1. Scroll to (Turn Wireless Off.)
2. Press Select.
3. Wireless Mode will turn off.
How to Enter Unlock Code:
Step Action
1 Insert SIM into device
2 Power phone on and Turn off the radio (Turn Wireless Off option)
3 Select "Options" THEN SELECT ADVANCED OPTIONS
4 Scroll down and select "SIM Card"
5 Type "MEPPD" (please note that you will not see what you type on the screen)
6 Type "MEPP then [ALT BUTTON] then 2"

7 Enter the Unlock Code
8 Press enter
9 Reboot device. Device is now unlocked.

How to enter unlock code:
- Insert non original SIM card into the device
- Power on the phone and turn Wireless Off
1 - Go to "Settings" then "Advanced options"
2 - Go to "SIM card" then press the jog dial to select it
3 - Type MEPP2 while holding Alt, multi tap enabled (hold [Alt], type [M] [ER] [OP] [OP] [TY].
(Please note that you will not see what you type on the screen)
4 - When prompted with "Enter Network MEP code on the screen,
enter the 16-digit network unlock code provided for your phone, then press Enter
5 - Pull the battery out of the phone Switch the phone on and the phone will be automatically unlocked.
Note: If the unlocking code is entered incorrectly the next attempt to unlock the device will be delayed
for 10 seconds increments. The number of unlocking attempts is limited.
When this number is reached the phone will be permanently blocked.
To unblock such phone, it must be taken to a RIM service centre.
No outgoing calls including emergency call is possible when the phone is blocked.

How to enter unlock code:
1. On the Home screen, click the Tools icon. The Options screen appears.
2. In the tools screen, select the Settings icon.
3. Scroll to SIM Card and select it. You should see the phone number and the SIM ID number.
4. Type ‘mepp2' to display the dialog box asking for the unlock code
(Press the Alt + 2 key to get the number 2)

5. Input the SIM Unlock code
6. Press in the jog dial once

How to enter unlock code
1. go to options
2 scroll to SIM CARD then press jog dial in once to select it
3. Type MEPD (not case sensitive) ( you will not see text appear on screen while typing )
4. Does it say Network active? if so your phone is locked
5. Press and hold the alt key (half moon looking key on the lower left side)
6. as you are holding the alt key type in MEPE (not case sensitive)
( you will not see text appear on screen while typing )
7. type in the unlock code when prompted
8. After entering the code press the jog dial in
9. Your phone is now unlocked

1 - Using the menu go to Settings Menu -> SIM card press select.
2 - While holding the SHIFT key, type mepd
3 - You should now see the five locking categories listed.
4 - While holding the SHIFT KEY, type mep2.
5 - Release the shift key.
6 - You are now prompted to enter the Network MEP code
(it will also state how many attempts left)
7 - Enter the code
8 - Enter Return/Enter
9 - The device should then be unlocked.
